Kara Walker Exhibit

A Few Weeks Ago I Went To The Kara Walker Exhibit. I Have To Say IT Was A Great Experience. It Was In An Old Domino Factory In Williamsburg. Kara Walker Had Some Pieces That Were Very Interesting. The Main Attraction Was A Huge Sculpture Of A Phoenix That Had The Face Of A Mamie. The Entire Sculpture Was Made Of Sugar. Spread Throughout The Rest Of The Exhibit Were Statues Of Young Children Who Represented The Children That Were Overworked, Under & Sometimes Not Paid At All.

In The Second Photo Which I Like To Call "A Sweet Reflection", Is Myself Staring At Myself. The Reflection Is Courtesy Of The Melted Sugar From The Children Pieces Throughout The Exhibit. I Also Ran Into Fashion/Styling Queen June Ambrose At The Exhibit With Her 2 Kids. Had To Take Some Selfie Action. I Will Ask Her To Play "Finish That Song" Next Time.

Independence Day Week

AYO LEROY!!!!! Had The Pleasure Of Meeting Taimak At The Airport… Cool Dude… Met Him Before But I Was Young. We Talked For A Bit & He Invited Me To An Event For The Movie's 30th Year Anniversary This Year…

Had An Amazing Show At Moca Café & Lounge On The 2nd… Great People, Great Comics… Just All Around Great Moment… Thank You Miami For Allowing Me To Be Myself…

Trying To Leave On Thursday Couldn't Happen… Some Hurricane Kept Me Stranded In Miami So After My Hours At The Airport, I Decided To Hit The Beach With My Brother & Enjoy Some FIFA World Cup Soccer, Drinks With Some Haitians (LOL) & The Fireworks… Later Partied With Some Friends… S/O To The Headliners That Made My Weekend Way More Exciting…

Finally Got My Flight Late Saturday… Though It Was Bitter Sweet, I Wanted To Go Home.."I Heard My City Feel Better Than Ever, That's Why I Gotta Come Home"…

Chappelle Show

June 27, 2014 I Had The Opportunity To See 1 Of My Comedic Heroes Live In Concert Again… Dave Chappelle Held Radio City Down For 10 Nights & Each Night Was Special.. There Was Also A Surprise Performance By Mos Def, Who People Thought Was Banned From America. The Crowd Went Crazy When The Curtains Revealed That It Was Actually Mos Def That Present Which Sounded Like Just A DJ Playing Music.. Great Period For Comedy… Can't Wait For My Turn..
